Re: Oldest Compton Varrios in the CPT.

I still say 155 is the oldest, if you read psge 70 of the book "VICE" - One cop's story of patrolling the most dangerous city - by Sgt. John R. Baker, it reads that when he arrived in compton in 1951, that 155 was already a big gang grown in the Nestor Tract of unincorpared land that LA ci...

Raza Brown Pride in Burbank (?)

Gangs are homegrown - Burbank According to police, Burbank has four gangs with a collective membership of roughly 40, though the number fluctuates as members move, are imprisoned or return home from jail. Elmwood and the Westside Playboys are the most active, while Burbank Trece Rifa and Raza Brown...

Re: Sepas

I knew about them back then as SEPAS 13, from Sepulveda. There was no North Hills yet. I had a ruca from that varrio named Espy.

Langdon Street claims Sepulveda as their town, and simply took over the SEPAS varrio and carried on with it.
SEPAS LANGDON STREET

That's my understanding.

Re: TERRITORY CHANGED

Also lonewolf, this might be off topic from here, but I saw an east los gang list from 1991, they had Al Capone, East L.A Dukes, The Mob Crew, Cuatro Flats, Primera Flats, Clarence street, but there was one gang that stood out, "Rascals", did you ever hear about this gang out there? Rasca...

TERRITORY CHANGED

Hoods that started in one place, and are now in another place, but they're no longer in their birthgrounds. In other words, they're still banging, but they ain't where they started out in. Case Example; ALCP - AlCaPone from the late 1960's, started out in the Aliso Village projects, but now are in A...

Re: BLYTHE STREET HISTORY

Lonewolf, i get kind of wordy and didn't want to take up too much space but I'll clarify this. It was not NS C14 (there was no north side Clanton but there was a north side diesiocho in San Fernando Valley North Hills area). However, west side 18th street started hanging in the middle of our BST ne...

On the jaire gang list they show the ferocious crowd as a white gang from downey, not a varrio. I don't know if that's the same gang that the new york times story is talking about (?)

Watts Varrio Palomar, existed in Watts, California years ago, they were a really old neighborhood, I believe they just died out on there own. i think that the Palomar Barrio was never a gang, only a neighborhood section of watts where the jordan downs are at. El Silencio barrio was what the Mexican part of Sun Valley was called. Later on SOL TRECE came up and it spawned several cliques. The Sol Valle DIABLOS were the second of the SV gangs when ST began to fade and die out.

Re: Sepas

They were active alright. Personally I think Sepas 13 is the original varrio from all that area called North Hills nowadays, but back in the day, the community was named Sepulveda, and the Varrio was SEPAS 13. They had at least a half a dozen cliques. I have the list somewhere in my notes, I'll dig ...

First Street was east of Indiana and south of Brooklyn, right before you got to El Hoyo Mara. There used to be a First Street, Little First and Primera Chicos. PCS was over there by VKKR. All 3 are defunct.
