Re: What is and where is the San Gabriel Valley?

I'd just be interested in what a gang that literally claims the county border as their hood would claim.

As far as I know, most homegrown black hoods in Pomona just claim Pomona. Not SGV or anything else.

Re: What is and where is the San Gabriel Valley?

Sorry Oso, it has been some years, but I do remember little cliques / party crews/ taggers that tried repping IE or both SGV and IE. I never really took note of non traditional cliques because they normally don't last. I can't even think of a single crew at the moment. when I said non traditional, I...

Re: Eternal Brown Soldiers (EBS) 13

I found out years later that EBS became a Varrio 13 clique. Not sure if they were a clique all along or if they got into V13 later. I went to school with a dude from EBS13 and I remember it just being EBS13 at the time.

Re: What is and where is the San Gabriel Valley?

If we're talking gangs, then Pomona is most definitely SGV. If we're talking geography, then it's debatable. I like the way wiki puts it here: Whittier, like Montebello, is considered both a San Gabriel Valley city and part of the Gateway Cities region .[3] Some of Whittier sits below the Puente Hil...

Re: M13 = Metro 13

Damn I made this thread almost 10 years ago! Those were the days lol. I'm curious if M13 is still around too, haven't been out in their area in years now. I know they abosrbed a clique in the mid 2000s shortly after I had made this thread. the tagging crew was AfH, I think out of Montobello , and th...

Yeah. Also, Capone E claims Cyclones out of West Covina, not Whittier.

Re: Hispanic gang members that rap

Cuatro Flats had a clique in Mira Loma (Riverside County) that spent much of its time beefing with Mira Loma Dodd St. Gang. The Mira Loma CF clique is where Lokote is said to be from.

is claremont really SGV? i always thought that is IE..i think their was a gang called claremont rifa 13 and they claimed IE... Re: NUmber of gangs & gang members in Riverside County

As you know, gang membership numbers are hard to calculate county wide like that, and law enforcement adds the numbers up different. They don't distinguish between older members that are now inactive and active ones all the time. Among other problems. Many gangs in Riverside are between 10 and 30 ac...

Although it isn't my area, I know from a very good source that Breed Street (although small maybe) is involved in a pretty active back and forth rivalry with Tiny Boys Gang over there in the past few months.

Coming back on this about 5 years later (lol) we now know that Claremont 1st did in fact claim IxE and not SGV even though they're in LA county. Small old varrio pretty much all gone now though.

So I don't see what your trying to debate.

These older Mexican Nieghborhoods Barrios used to fight against their rivals. Rumles, fights. stuff like that. and evolved with the times. Its actually simple when you think about it..

Alrite, i can go with some of these Towns had a Mexican population going back, sure we can roll with that. Because they needed labor back then, to tend those fields. Now these Barrios actually having Gangsters in them, thats a different story. What kind of "Gangster" activity they could of been inv...
