190 ECBC Origins question (Carson)

Unread postby jae » June 23rd, 2018, 7:16 pm

It's my understanding that before there was 190 East Coast Blocc Crips in Carson, that area belonged to four individual gangs, who had their own turf boundaries;

West Side Blocc Crips
Leadership Crips
Del Amo Crips
East Side Block Players

My question is this... what year did that area collectively decide to become 190 ECBC? And who are its founding members?

And who brought the "EAST COAST CRIP" to them?

By 1976, that area was just collectively called DEL AMO CRIPS. So clearly the other groups merged, or faded by then, and leaving DEL AMO CRIPS to later become East Coast Crips.

the 1978 map I have shows that area as 4 different gangs. So if this map is correct, the 190 ECCrips formed after that, in 1979 or in the early 1980s
