Varrio State Street

I was curious as to how active this varrio is? I never hear it being mentioned and don't see much activity. Im from The Beach but I'm constantly in their hood but never see any vatos, just placasos.

all i know about them is that they were dying out in the 90's and then hooked up with some tagging crews and kept up their ranks. i'm guessing those ex-taggers still like to hit the walls alot. I remember there was a fox-11 news report on them.

i know a couple of guys from this neighborhood, but I think KAM has been the most active neighborhood in this area.

I got a latina homegirl that live in their hood. She would always tell me to go down to kick it n she will introduce me to em. I never went though, i would mess around and tell her if i do go them state streeters would talk to each other n b like, o shit homes its a chino! lookin at me like an animal n shizz coz after its east los. i b fuckin around with my mexican homies like that when they would tell me to go to their hood. got em crackin up haha. but yea man them state streeters will prolly look at me like some sort of animal...a chino in east los wuuuut lol.

O yea theres a shoe at payless shoes called state street lol.

State Street has always had some ryders, NEVER really been deep in numbers,
but there really known for their "JUGO" ....bomb shit./

But si'mon, KAM is way more active than most all other hoods in the neck of EAST LOS.

they got the jugo, and theyre pretty boys with fades and collar tees and drive suvs..theyre about theyre feria haha i dont know.. theyre still around.

State Street used to be the neighborhood where you could get your meth, pcp, etc, but I think the police put many of those guys out of business.

Their downfall began when they started beefing with PFlats,one of their allies for years, and still having to deal with a very aggressive KAM at their prime.
