All intersting stuff....just another view - for me - the best uncommercial rapper is Mos Def. I love his new album, 'The New Danger'. Its mostly hip hop stuff and all good, but it goes other places too, soulful, dark and that man can write damn good flow. And hes an old boy like me, so I feel better listening to Mos Def 'n KRS1 'cos I'm knockin' the big three zero!

Check uncommercial UK Hip Hop / Garage / Bashment on MTV - a prog called 'FROM THE ENZ' - LOndon based but the 'ENZ' are East London as in East End / Hackney stylee.

Check another prog - 'STREETS, GRIME & LIFE' - all UK underground Hip Hop - check for the likes of Roll Deep, its very different than US style and I think you gonna like it. Its on 467 Channel U (SKY I think)
