Rap music in 2040

Unread post by Dr Funky » April 15th, 2005, 9:04 pm

Am I the only one who thinks it's funny that when we get old we will still be listening to rap? IMAGINE THAT! Our grandkids will think we are weird for listening to it.

i don't really like too much present day rap. we have gorilla unit, why gorilla, why not ghetto or gangsta or something cool. gorilla sounds like a joke. we have lil john. come on, lil john. he got rich off of like three words, "crunk, nigga, club". ja rule, that's enough said about him. there's all these guys from the south who all look alike, make the same videos, and sing the same shit(houston texas, atlanta, tenessee, there all the same). eminem whos good song carrear is close to done. dre and snoop anre't as good as they use to. the only present day rap i like comes from new orleans. cash money, c murder, b.g., ect. other then that i like older music, and some r&b. i hate techno, and dance and all that shit.

lol i was raised in Russia so I'm into our gangsta style cars. BMW with tinted or iced windows, or marcedez benz. None of them were legaly aquired cuz only respected gang members had them from stealing them, and the rich never had them cuz they got stolen from. My dad had one, when he got shot we moved to Canada. Canada & America rocks dif rides then Russia does, so ya, Im never on the same level as most people.

Yeah I'm not into the new stuff totally either. All the old west coast and east coast stuff was the best. Especially Pac. It's just not the same anymore. Rappers used to talk about real social issues and now it's all just club music. Plus it sounded better back then. There was a special feel to it that I can't describe. It will probably be even worse when I am old!

I heard it is really hard to find cars like caddies, impalas, ect. over in Europe. I'm not totally into the whole Euro street racer thing but I respect the guys who put their energy, time and money into them. I'm just old school. Drop top Coup DeVille!

who knows? You see 70s and 60s movies and you think the guys look like fags dancing and wearing the cloth they did, but during those times it was considered top shit and in. We just in our generation, I can tell you there's too many skaters and punks now a days, so that might be the next generation. Altho if I had a kid and he started listening to punk or metal or some shit like that I'd flip. We proly ganna end up lookin like clowns to the next generations.

Nearly a decade ago researchers discovered that life expectancy for men in Harlem was shorter than that of men in Bangladesh. The causes of the excess deaths included homicide and substance abuse ---- got that off the internet home slice

THE life expectancy for GANG MEMBER IS 21 IF YOU MAKE IT TO 21 YOU HAVE LIVED MORE LIVE THEN MOST NIGGAS YOU KNOW AND THEN IF YOU HIT 25 YOUR MIND STARTS TO CHANGE BECAUSE AT 25 YOU CAN KINDA SEE 30 BUT AT 16 YOU CANT SEE 21
