Heres an article from 1982 i found interesting. I didnt know the NF were the first criminals to be prosecuted under rico. I was also suprised at the body count for some of these gangs. USA government officials blamed the NF for 182 murders in a 5 year span from 1977-1982.
Charged them with rackateering, drug trafficking, extortion, murder ect..

Didn’t know that either. I thought RICO was originally made to take down La Cosa Nostra.

Im sure it was made to take down the mafia, but by chance the nuestra familia was ricod first.
