All the information in this book comes from Rene Enriquez, and Al Valdez brings his experience to make the book readable is my guess. But it is a must read.

I did read it and it's really deep in some cases, but also lots of stuff that is mostly known.

Found it interesting to that the eMe and AB are at war in the state prisons...

I think the read is worth it. Although I know alot about La Eme, there were a few things in it that I learned that I didn't know. I dint know that Boxer recorded a video for La Eme heavy hitter Angel Valencia, in which he told him that he wouldn't survive in the organization and eventually he dropped out too. All in the book.

Angel Valencia told me that the video that Boxer made had nothing to do with him dropping out. Infact he was dropping out already before he was even aware of any video and the COs told him that Boxer made a video and out of curiousity he looked at it, but I dont have any doubt that Valencia was not influenced by Rene "Boxer".
