Anyone ntoice this about ebonic slang

Unread post by PolakoMafia » September 20th, 2009, 10:52 am

that they use gang terms all the time even I heard black guys in my university (San jose State) using these slang terms, and I mean from all walks of life (educated or non) they seem to identify with gangs. They use blood or cus when talking and those are cripp/blood terms but they use it in everyday convos even I think non-affiliated blacks use the terms. Im curious if anyone else noticed this?

How the fuck did someone as stupid as you get into university?

Although to answer your question, those terms aren't always gang related. "Blood" refers to family, and it's use dates way before any LA gang started using it.

To be honest I have noticed non-affiliated people use those terms in slang. Mostly African-Americans and some Pinoys that grew up in the hood.

so do they use it to try fit in and be hard and act like bangers or simply cause so many blacks are in gangs it became mainstream in their culture?

Can't you read dummy? Blood & cuzz are words that have been used before bloods & crips were around. I'm surprised to read you go to school in my town. How old are you?

I started going to school here because I recently moved to the area because of an internship and my criminal case reasons in that other county. Those cops there were too close as well as the bounty hunters and those people where I used to live literally already violated my rights once so id ecided to move, and it was a smart idea as there is way more opportunity in the bay/silicon valley area.

What about Fresno bulldogs? Are they affiliated with the university crew or football team at all or were in beginning?

Affirmative Action...only if they're a minority though. Poor Whites get the short end of the stick, so to speak.

nah trust me there are some dudes that go to college that sold a drugs and ran with a squad when they were younger.
shit, Cassidy went to Central High School.
(This is Cassidy) http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/150424 ... sidy.jhtml
Thats easily the very best high school in Philadelphia.
i didnt even get excepted to Central.

or you can just look at the percentages.
lets say 30-40 percent of people go to college after graduating high school.
thats like what 2 or 4 million people a year in the US?
There is no way that all 2-4 million of those people are clean or dont have street connections.

thinking that just because someone has a hood life they aren't going to college is like thinking all police are good because only good people wanna be police.
