There are no sides, really. If Asian race sided with blacks then it's hardly racial now is it? Certain Asian gangs beef with certain Hispanic gangs in certain cities, and in other places Asian gangs beef mainly with other Asian gangs. Hell, in Long Beach Asians beefed hard with the HIspanics before blacks beefed hard with them, and even then Asians and blacks would squabble too, r20s doesn't get along much with ABZ, ABZ is cool with ICG but even they get into rumbles.

There's no race war dude, it's gang beef, and just because gangs in Los Angeles are predominantly made up of 1 (general) ethnic background, when they fight it tends to be dumbed down to "Black on HIspanic" or "Hispanic on Asian" because, well, thats what you get when a hispanic gang fights an Asian gang.

It's just a few ignorant neighborhoods who've bred ignorance into their youngsters that get racial. Talk to a young Longo member today about why they beef with the Asians and you'll get some off the wall story about how Asians in long beach kill kids and do drive bys on women...stuff that never happened. Yet you can find actual news reports where Longo members chased down an non gang related Asian kid, because they 'thought' he was from a gang, and murdered him on his doorstep in front of his mother (this really happened, in the news even), but they'll still say "asians broke the 'rules'".

Asians aren't hardcore compared to Mexicans and blacks. They're at the bottom of the street gang totem pole.

Have asians ever had a serious gang war with any hispanic or black street gang? I know about the Longo and ABZ beef, but are there others besides that?

Yeah, i made the same notion a month or so ago when Caliboi suddenly stopped posting and this Mr. interesting dude popped up. He was claiming he lived in illinois where Caliboi said he lived(well after he said he lived in long beach, south central, oakland and sactown) and yeah, he had the same chewed up and digested facts caliboi kept posting on and on about. waterdown and wasted.

Vicious-

Not really -in the SGV their was some beef between Sangra and ABZ and I guess the ABZ let some Vallerios 13 have lead and it led to a massive investigation of the ABZ gang and they found out that there was a couple ABZ who had killed a dozen people. Also Longo and all asian gangs in LBC. The Longos are responsible for practically starting every Asian gang nationwide-the Asians in LBC adopted the names/graffiti/dress/tattoo style of the Longos who had been punking them when they first came out. It was a deadly war 60+ dead and its still going with murders here and there-last year maybe 5 asians were gunned down by Longo along with who knows how many non bangers the Longos killed. The Longos are notorious for shooting non banging Asians--and they openly declare it and admit its a RACE WAR.

Yes their is because blacks imitate chicanos. So vice versa the asian street gangs are watered down 3x given them an even cornier look then the B/C. You take something original, spin it and then spin it again of course your going to have a goofy ass look! I mean look at Snoop and Dre and Easy with their tight ass dickies long ass shirts , goofy ass tattoos and their you have a watered down cholo version do it again and give the asian some dickies, mexican style fine line black and grey tattoos, a flanne,l braids and jordans with a honda accord and you have the Southeast asians. It must be pure absoluet dementia to be involved with gangs like that. Besides the look, no one should ever doubt that asians didnt murder a large share of people in LBC. The took average everyday banging and got involved with a gang war on scale to East Coast Crip and Florencia or worst for 15 years straight! The Longos Ive spoken to said that every single one of their members had been at least shot once and most had been shot multiple times. The roll call they placed on here had one of the longest dead counts Ive ever seen for a gang....some dozens of members killed on some banging shit. The Asians killed a guap of Longeros and vice versa. Its why I say the Longos are probably one of the most vicious gangs in all Califas....theyve been engaged in the most serious gang war in all USA for some 20+ years losing dozens and dozens of members. I read where a Longero kidnapped an East Asian banger tortured him and shot him up left him for dead on the freeway and then asian banger comes back after a long hospital stay and annihilates a car full of paisas in the worst gang war in Los Angelos at the time. When the hell you ever hear some shit like that? The Cambodians and Vietnamese in LBC are serious dude and put a gang of Longeros in their graves---yeah the Longos lasted longer and the Longos have been turning out notorious killers for many years since the Asian war but the time they did make noise in LBC they made ALOT of noise.

Press-Telegram (Long Beach, CA)

June 10, 1996

LONG BEACH SHOOTING GANG MURDER TRIAL
TWO YEARS LATER, L.B. GANG KILLINGS TO UNFOLD IN COURT

Article Text:

The massacre two years ago was possibly the deadliest racial confrontation in the city's history. A cold, calculated ambush, it culminated one of Long Beach's saddest chapters.
During the previous five years, three dozen young men -- many of them innocent bystanders -- were killed in the warfare between Latino and Southeast Asian gangs. Many others were wounded, scarred or maimed for life. It was a senseless war that began over turf but evolved into a fury of ethnic cleansing.
Yet, despite the intensity of the combat, the general public for years seemed almost apathetic. Perhaps it was due to the misconception that everyone involved was a gang member. (The police identified only one-fourth of the victims as hard-core gang members.) Perhaps it was because many of the victims were Latino or Southeast Asian immigrants. Or perhaps it was because most of the shootings took place along the so-called Anaheim Corridor in one of the poorest parts of Long Beach.
For whatever reason, that changed on the night of May 15, 1994. On that date, six young men and teen-agers -- Latinos from Los Angeles -- were shot, three of them fatally. Today the two youths suspected of killing them go on trial.
Two years ago, the victims were getting ready to drive home from a party in Long Beach near Lewis Avenue and 12th Street.
Little did they know as they climbed into their blue Toyota Corolla that five days earlier, two Southeast Asian teen-agers -- one 13, one 19 -- were gunned down on another Long Beach street, probably by Latino gangbangers. Nor could they have known that two days later, two Latinos were wounded but survived a payback shooting.
In any case, on that night, two Asian youths -- draped in the black garb of grim reapers -- appeared out of the dark and approached the Toyota, one on each side. Aiming a gun directly at the driver's forehead, one asked, ``Do you want me to shoot you in the head?''
Without waiting for an answer, he pulled the trigger.
As the driver, 23-year-old Justino Rodriguez, slumped over the steering wheel, the two assailants began firing indiscriminately with 9 mm pistols. Their bullets hit everyone in the car. Four of the six youths staggered from the vehicle, but in the end, only three would live. Besides Rodriguez, Juan Luis Figueroa, 14, and Hector Alvarez, 17, died. Figueroa's 19-year-old brother was among the wounded.
None of the victims was a gang member.
Five dead in five days
As the gunmen disappeared into the night, many people in Long Beach woke up. The carnage -- five dead in as many days -- was the straw that finally broke the camel's back.
A cry went out: ``Enough is enough!''
All available police resources were focused on the area, and the Police Department's gang detail was greatly expanded. The City Council took up the issue, demanding the hiring of more Asian officers. City Manager Jim Hankla ordered police to take whatever steps they deemed necessary to secure the peace and find the gunmen. He also directed a top deputy to launch an all-out effort to get the warring gangs to sit down at a peace table. The city's Human Relations Commission began a series of hearings to get to the heart of the matter.
Behind the scenes, former gang members talked to their brethren.
Sadly, the summer of '94 would see more shootings and more dead youngsters. But the intensity of that awful week in May was a climax, the high tide of the violent surge. Afterward, tensions waned. In July, the Press-Telegram profiled the 36 victims of the gang war in a special project titled ``A Plea for Peace,'' and by the end of the summer, the leading gangs announced they had agreed to a cease-fire.
Since then, although fighting sometimes erupts between the adversaries, the truce has held. In the words of one former gang member who helped forge the agreement: ``It's one man's word against another's. You can take that to the bank.''
Now the focus has shifted to the two young Cambodians who are set to go to trial today for the May 15, 1994, slayings. Each faces three counts of murder and three of attempted murder. If found guilty, they could spend the rest of their lives behind bars.
Long Beach police arrested the two cousins within weeks of the crime. Both allegedly belonged to the TRG -- the city's most feared Asian gang -- when the shooting occurred.
Once a victim himself
One is Kamsao Dengon, now 19, a Poly High School dropout. During a pretrial hearing last week, Dengon seems nervous, quick to speak, as he sits in court clad in a distinctive blue and white jailhouse jumpsuit. His cheeks are acne-scarred. His rough inmate haircut fades into a short tail in back.
He is the one who allegedly shot the driver.
Two years before the crime, Dengon was himself an innocent victim. When he was only 15, he was kidnapped by two young Latinos, probably gang members. They shot him, then drove around displaying him to their friends as a sort of living trophy.
Dengon managed to save his life by causing the car they were in to crash, police said. The kidnappers fled. Officers found him abandoned in the car, critically wounded.
His cousin and co-defendant is Bunlom Hom, also a Poly dropout.
Hom, 18, looks even younger. The hair above his lip and on his chin could easily be described as peach fuzz. Looking at his smile, it is difficult to imagine him brandishing a lethal weapon or blazing away into a crowded car.
Shortly after Hom was arrested, former classmates at Poly described him as more of a follower than a leader. In class, he was quiet, they said. But with his gangster friends, it was a different story, and he would open up.
``They were like a family to him, where he would go to hide and get away from his problems,'' said one boy.
This is not the first trial. That occurred in April, but lasted only a few days before a mistrial was called. After two witnesses testified, it became clear that certain evidence had not been made available to the defendants, as required. For example, the defense was unaware of artist renderings that could play a role in identifying the killers.
``At the truncated first trial, of the witnesses who testified, it appeared that neither could identify Mr. Hom as a perpetrator,'' said Deputy Public Defender Stanley Perlo, who is representing Hom.
So today the process begins to select a new judge and jury. They will decide the fate of two teenagers accused of firing the shots heard round the world of Long Beach.
Caption:

killed, in their car at the corner of Lewis Avenue and 12th Street in

That was Half Dead AIP SIP from 15th Street Sui Town. Homie got slit ear to ear and passed in the county after he got rolled up on those charges. The other head involved was his cousin, from TRG. That was during the cease fire between Asian gangs in the beach, only squabbles with no real weapons went down amongst the sets those days, and it was mostly 1 on 1 dumbshit, enemies were riding together to put in dirt on longos. Shit was thick.

And, mayuga, for reference yo there wasn't many Viets in the beach dude, mainly Lao, Khmer and some Pinoy, with maybe a handful of viets. Most viets close to LB are across the way over county lines in GG and Westminster.

One of the most serious gang wars in all Cali involves the asians and Longos. They murdered 50+ people in a span of a few years--while the Longos battled every black gang in LBC. But yes -the SE Asian bangers in LBC--did alot of damage and made alot of noise. They took it to the Longeros like you wouldnt believe and vice versa the Longos have many many members doing major time for blasting back guaps of people during that time. Their is a guy by the name of Whisper from ESL that killed a half dozen people in a matter of a couple months. Dude got out of prison after spending from ages 13-25 in Youth Authority.......got violated for a parole violation and lost his marbles from what Ive been told...his motto was that they werent taking him alive and he commenced to committing one of the most murderous sprees in Los Angelos county history. He shot and killed old asian men, killed people in McDonalds on camera, killed a pair of samoan brothers, shot people in broad daylight and was finally caught up while blasting a car full of asian kids on Anaheim and proceeded to unload a 9mm into the police car before running out of bullets. Real story here. This guy was on one serious manhunt and I remeber as a kid seeing newsflashes of his photo wanted for multiple murders. He was akin to a serial killer. Also the guy below HALF DEAD was a notorious figure from that war.....they committed one of the worst atrocities in LA county history. This was national news. Every station coast to coast played this up as it looked like everyone in the car was going to die at first ......all 6 had been shot multiple times apiece.

Apparently a false rumor...........he is located at Corcoran State Prison and his admission date matches the story along with the age of the offender so apparently like many other "hood" rumors this one is patently false........................

He was Lao, most fools from Sui Town during that time were Lao, with the exception of a few blacks and Usos, and a white dude. Most the Khmer's from that area were ABZ or EFCC. Those were some nutty days to come up in, I was just 15 at that time and thought it was all fun to get down with the get down but now, looking back, that was some stupid shit to actually want to be involved in.

Was it as murderous as I am led to believe or is the shit exaggeration? I heard many storys -of people being domed in broad daylight ,killing every week -shootings daily -women and children catching led...I also knew that the Longos were engaged in a serious gang war with the blacks at the same time and that the blacks and asian were riding together to kill "mexicans" not Longos. I also was led to believe that the Longos were putting people on their click by making them shoot someone point blank and that they were recruiting almost every teenage Mexican in the city pumping it up as a race war. Where the hell is the book? A true account of what really happened.

It was rough and tough times mang, don't get me wrong, but it wasn't half as bad as it got pumped up with all the media hype. And, honestly, there were very very few asians (blacks and samoans) on that "fuck mexican" tip but, on the flip side, there was many many hispanics(but all longo mostly) on that "fuck gook" tip. And it wasn't the youngsters who started it, it was the older heads who instilled that shit in them, fear based recruiting and shit man. Like "these asians are pushing in on our turf and are a threat, they want to wipe us out" which wasn't the truth. But when you get pushed and pushed you can only take so much bbefore you snap and push back, and sometimes that push may take someone over the edge, ya know?

Yes fools got dumped on and dropped in broad daylight, both sides. Longos had their blinders on and would bang on any asian, which wasn't cool in our eyes so we had to turn up the heat and bang on any longo on site, even if it meant doing shit like half dead did and planning to straight steak out a spot and wait. Mistakes were made, bad mistakes, mistakes so bad that even though I wasn't involved first hand I feel regret and remorse for on behalf of my "homies" and those who just got caught up in some dumbshit.

But yeah, long story short, it was hard living in those few blocks for a few years, back and forth over nothing really but machismo. And the longos didn't really know what they got into or started because they couldn't grasp how fucked in the head some of the older homies really were, what with them coming straight out the killing fields, with parents who were/are fucked for life in the head. Fools didn't give a damn, they couldn't grasp that some of us saw killing on the regular before most kids would even learn to ride a bike, or read a book. Those were the shooters, those were the riders, and with just 1 or 2 in the crowd of 10 or 20 of us it was enough to set any one of us off to do shit we wouldn't typically do otherwise.

But from our end, whether you want to believe it or not, I can aassure you it was never a race war that they wanted. We were cool with Barrio Pobre and WSL through out the first few years of the drama, till ESL started getting hit so hard Sur/Eme/Whatever made it mandatory for all the hispanic hoods cool with us to funk on site via the greenlight. Had it been hood on hood as it started, I can assure you ESL would be a thing of the past, WSL would have totally wiped those fools out along with us because they're interest was invested in ESL being out the game, same with BP.

Anyway, i rambled enough.

And the book, idk, I don't think I'm articulate enough for something like that, I'm sure there's more well versed homies with better first hand accounts with lots of time on their hands to do that, if you know what i mean haha.
peace
