You gotta be chitting me. Nets acquire Carter? If Jason Kidd comes back from the injured list, then the Nets will be one exciting team to watch. I wouldn't rate them the top teams of the NBA because Carter doesn't play defense for sh*t. But offensively, they can put up numbers especially over 100 every night. If Carter gets his act straight and doesn't get injured a lot, then the Nets will put up a fight during the playoffs.

Raptors ain't a problem. They have that 2nd year player in Chris Bosh. He's the new guy they can depend on from now on. This guy is going to get a lot of pressure to lead the Raptors to the playoffs. Remember he is young. Can he handle the heat to lead the Raptors to victories? Can he be a leader with a roster full of veteran players like Jalen Rose, Donyell Marshall, and now Alonzo Mourning. Rose might be the captain, but this is Bosh's team.

Don't worry about it. They gonna win again I think. Now that I think about it, they don't have a playmaker. Carter was the one reason why other Raptor players were good. He created shots for them. But now that he's gone, it looks like the Raptors will go to isolation plays for Bosh.

AS A RAPTER FAN MYSELF I BELIEVE THAT IT WAS TIME TO GET RID OF CARTER. WHY? EVER SINCE THE SLAM DUNK COMPETITION HE CAME FROM FLYING KITE TO A CRASH LANDING. MAN I WATCHED MOST OF THE GAMES AND VINCE SHOWS NO HEART AND SOUL ON THE GAME HE LOVES MOST. HE WAS KNOWN AS THE MOST EXPENSIVE BYSTANDER ON THE BENCH.

NO DOUBT HE DID ENUFF EXCITEMENT FOR THE CITY OF TORONTO AND YES HE WILL BE MISSED JUST LIKE CHICAGO MISSN JORDAN EVER SINCE HE RETIRED AND LEFT.

CARTER WAS THE BOMBSHELL OF AIR CANADA.
THANX FOR THE GREAT MEMORIES.

100% correct. He got all of his hype from the slam dunk contest. He had a few productive years but overall, average at best!
