1 on 1? For me ive been into many fights, from what I can remember ive been into 19 fights. Out of those ive won 13 and lost 6 that pretty good win-loss ratio I think. What about you?

The question is too general. There are three common types of fist fights I have seen or been in (I'm not discussing styles etc..):

1.) A guy knows he can kick someone's as_s so he does either alone or with his homies helping or present. Victim is just that a victim. (No honor given in my book).

2.) A jump in or two younger guys in the same gang fighting over something in front of their homeboys. This is all about establishing heart and pecking order. Love is shown and they are told to stop at a certain point or allowed too without losing face. Risk's are understood and basically known factors. (No honor given in my book).

3.) Two guys from different hoods randomly by chance meet alone and unarmed and end up fighting without any of their homies around. Risk factor is totally unknown and nobody is around to break it up. (This is the real deal).

I got homies from Poland who are total street fighters. One time this guy came and flipped my friend off (http://www.eazy-e.net/upload/uploads/Guy17.jpg) he walked up to him grabbed him with one hand and headbutted the motherf-er (the dude was way bigger and buffer than him), and he waited for him to get up and told him they will go one on one. But he refused and ran like a b-ch. LAter he came back with people from the toughest hood from there (half the people from there are criminals and the building is from early 20th century and looks like Auschwitz). They came with a carload andn a guy who has a reputation fo killing at least some number of men and recently he went so out of control that the poeple from that hood offered a chest of beers to the man who murders him (no one has yet and currently he is in prison). They finally cought up to him but this other guy who was in prison for murdering someone with scissors (http://www.eazy-e.net/upload/uploads/hitler.jpg) was there and they only beat him a bit.

That sounds like how it was in SoCal in the seventies. SoCal's come a long way since then.

Too many times. Got good at it the hard way. If I never punch another man in anger again, it will be a blessing.

I have had just a hand full of street fights in my entire life. You really have to be looking for trouble, but when I was doing martial arts, I used to spar full contact every day for several years. I even competed in several tournaments in the early 1990s in LA.

Well shit, I'm from Dallas and boxin is what we prefer instead of always shootin, so a few fights every couple Weeks, I can't count.
