Castro: Racism In U.S. Keeps Many Away From Obama

Last Updated:

HAVANA -- Fidel Castro says a "profound racism" in the United States will stop millions from voting for Barack Obama in next month's presidential election.

The ailing, 82-year-old former Cuban president says it is "a miracle that the Democratic candidate hasn't suffered the same luck as (assassinated leaders) Martin Luther King, Malcolm X and others who harbored dreams of equality and justice."

Castro's written comments were published by state media Saturday. In them, he insists a "profound racism" exists in the U.S. and that millions of whites "cannot reconcile themselves to the idea that a black person ... could occupy the White House, which is called just that: white."

Castro also described Republican presidential candidate John McCain as "bellicose."

Nothing like taking the word of a man like Castro as important. Hell while we're at it, lets get Bin Laden on the phone and see what he thinks about the election.

LOL @ this.

The main difference between those two men being that Osama Bin Laden is actively involved in terrorist campaigns against largely innocent Americans, whilst Castro's Cubans are on the other end of terroristic campaigns.

You live in Africa? No offense, but what do you know about our election, other than what you've hear from the liberal media?

Bin Laden and Fidel Castro are not the same person. After all, Castro never had anything to do with the Bush family.

At least 80% of African Americans vote Democrat EVERY election, with several elections topping the 90% mark.

The majority of the same people would be voting for Hillary so how does that equate to racism?

Yes, and that so obviously equates racism.

Wait, that's all part of the LiberoFascist hidden agenda, right?

Most people who are so racist that they would never vote for a presidential candidate simply because he is black were ever going to vote for a Democrat in the first place.

but, I imagine Old-school, and I mean OLD-school southern democrats (Strom Thrumond) might fit into that category. I'd imagine most of them are dead, but there's probably a few thousand of them left.

There's probably a block of old Dixicrats left but most of them came over to the Republican Party a long time ago.

Castro, Sort of hates the U.S. and will do what ever he can to bring us down. He would like obama to win cause he knows they think alike.

Racism has noting to do with some people not liking obama. Its ok to not vote for someone on principal.

fact is those black voters voted overwhelmingly for Obama against another Democrat: Hilary. SO it isn't all based on party and also race plays well on Obama's side.

How about the failing economy will not get any better with four more years of Senator McSame as President. And who in their right mind would find themselves voting for Sarah Palin as VP...
